Updating your Domain Name Server (DNS)

Log into your domain name control panel. Once you’re inside the control panel look for the DNS settings area. Most domain name registrars usually have this area highlighted in the main dashboard so it’s not hard to miss. Proceed into the DNS settings area and remove your current addresses. Then add in our two DNS addresses.

dns1.cmdwebsites.com
dns2.cmdwebsites.com

Save these changes and you should get a notification that the new update was successfully accepted. It can take up to 48 hours for the DNS update to fully propagate so it may take 1-2 days before you see your CMD website live.

Important

Do not update your name servers until you’ve submitted the Go Live form and been specifically instructed by our support department to do so. If you make these updates prematurely, then you risk breaking your current website and email accounts.
